ASM - Bob DeCoite, John Barry, Arthur Bailey, Norm Reeves and Ron Neville were all honoured with the 2000 Australian Sports Medal, recognizing their significant contribution to cricket in Victoria.
In 2004 Norm Reeves received the prestigious "R.F. Merriman Medal' for services to Victorian Cricket
In 2022 Steve Brown received the prestigious "R.F. Merriman Medal' for services to Victorian Cricket
1947 Foundation member Bob DeCoite was elected to the first Association Patron role in 1996/1997 and held the position until his passing at the end of the 2007/2008 season
Alan Bailey was elected Association Patron at the beginning of the 2008/2009 season and held the position until 2022 when he requested to step down from the role due to ill health
In 2022 Norm Reeves was elected as Association Patron
In 2023 the VCCL inducted into their Hall of Fame Norm Reeves, Steve Brown and Bryan Mitchell (posthumously)
