Footballers celebrate reunion of 1982/83 Neilson Shield Premiership team

Recently the FTG Footballers 1982/83 Neilson Shield Premiership team held a reunion to celebrate the only Division 1 flag in the club’s 68 year history.    The team included the inaugural 1974/75 Feaver Medallist Doug Chapman (front centre) team Captain Craig Graham who captained a Victorian Country X1 against Sri Lanka the following year (behind Chapman) and Feaver Medallist Trafford Ellis. (3rd from the left)       Four of the group were named in the clubs best team in the first 50 years, namely Graham, Chapman, Chris Elliott (extreme right) and Russell Cromarty. (standing extreme left)
