FANTASTIC FOUR

The FTGDCA now boasts four members of the Victorian Male & Female Squads recently announced for season 2019/20  by Cricket Victoria. Glenn Maxwell (South Belgrave), Sam Harper (Eildon Park) and Mitchell Perry (Knoxfield) have been joined by 16 year old Tess Flintoff (Knox Gardens) who enters new territory becoming the first local female to make it to the big time.

Cricket Victoria flagged their interest in Flintoff, the state U/18 skipper, when they selected her in a warm up match against a full strength Australian line-up in March this year at the Junction Oval.

Knoxfield’s Norm Reeves premiership player Mitch Perry had his Rookie contract extended whilst Harper continues to battle for the gloves with Seb Gotch.    Maxwell will be unavailable for Victoria obviously when on National duties and is currently training for the World Cup in England.
