Cameron Wheeler’s all round efforts taking 5/30 and making 42 ensured Upwey Tecoma took the points over Eildon Park. Quentin Wells top scored with 53 for Upwey whilst Eildon Park skipper Monto Perera took 3 wickets as the Tigers posted 9/193 in their allotted over’s. In response George Harrison (55) took the Panthers to 155 runs. The win sees Upwey move into second spot whilst Eildon Park holds onto 4th by percentage.

The Basin won their second game of the season with Jake Best (114) and Scot Vozzo (73*) leading the way. The Bears lost three wickets setting a target of 230 for Mountain Gate. The Gators were well served by Clint Buckland (55) and Luke Bowyer (42) although they ended their chase at 8/201.
The Basin will be looking to string some games together after being inconsistent in the first half of the season.

Ferntree Gully fell short in a close game against Knox Gardens going down by 11 runs. The Falcons set the pace making 6/178 thanks to Jarrod Butcher(48) and Niraj DeSilva(38)with Peter Mannaert taking three wickets. Jayden Bradbury (72) did everything within his power to get the Blues over the line. Going into the last over the Blues required 14 runs with 2 wickets in hand but two runouts ended the game.  Adam Wild’s 3 wickets has him as leading wicket taker with 20 scalps.

Knoxfield's top order again stood tall as they chased down Belgrave's 166. The Magpies Jake Balfour made 50 while Adith Sundaresh took 3 wickets in their innings before Trentin Scholfield (66) and Tom Boxell (63*) saw the Knights home.  A game clear on top The Knights are well on their way to a repeat of last year’s efforts.

Upper Gully's 7/198 was too taller a target for Monbulk as they were bundled out for 113. Luck (53), Henry (47), and Dowling (33) did the job with the bat for the Kings. Todd Burley's 3/14 made sure Daniel Clark (57) was the sole performer for the Hawks. Upper Gully move into 3rd position and are well placed to feature in finals.

In DeCoite Shield Footballers moved to the top of the table after beating Olinda, the Griffen's have Johnson Park to thank as the Sharks took the points over Lysterfield. Rowville celebrated their first win of the season against Knoxfield and South Belgrave was too good for St Johns Tecoma.

Cricket returns on the 7th of January in a T20 format round. Good luck to the juniors representing FTGDCA in their VMCU games.
