Knights v Kings finals fling
Knoxfield will host Upper Ferntree Gully in the preliminary final next week after accounting for Ferntree Gully in their round 12 clash. Batting first Ferntree Gully made 8/140 off their allotted overs with Jayden Bradbury scoring 32 at the top of the innings. Tom Boxell led the way with 48 as the Knights chased down the target inside 28 overs aided by Adith Sundaresh's 32.

Upper Ferntree Gully took the points in their battle for second spot with Eildon Park. The King's batted first making 7/159 from their 40 overs. Despite a runout on the second ball of the day, Peter Dunlop batted through the innings making 75 and sharing the largest partnership with Jay Windross (31). In reply Eildon Park batted steadily with George Harrison making 30, but lost wickets at regular intervals with their last 5 falling for 22 runs. Bowling at the death Steve Bowen took 2 wickets in 2 balls and completed the over with freakish runout. The Panthers were bowled out in the 39th over for 144. Eildon Park will host Upwey Tecoma in the elimination final next week.

Upwey Tecoma took the points over Monbulk despite Jason Fraser's knock of 73 for the Hawks.
Frasers’ return, combined with Harrison Beans 38 got Monbulk to 7/170 but it was not enough to deny the Tigers a win. Chris Jewell made 40 as Upwey compiled 8/172.

Knox Gardens chalked up a win over The Basin after chasing down their total of 8/207. The Bears batted first with Scott Vozzo making 85 ably supported by Michael Rawnsley (37). Adam Wild took 3/34 for the Falcons before their batsmen got going. Niraj DeSilva (72), Josh Gregory (45) and Jarrod Butcher (38*) all made contributions as Knox Gardens chased the score down in 39 overs.

Mountain Gate finished of the season with a win over Belgrave. The Magpies were bowled out for 119 with Robert Gough taking 4/25 for the gators. Sanitha DeMel made 39 as Mountain Gate made 5/123.

In DeCoite Shield Footballers celebrated their 10th win of the season beating South Belgrave. Johnson Park made light work of Rowville’s 127. Knoxfield scraped past St John’s Tecoma 3/200 making 9/203 and Lysterfield defeated Olinda.
