Upwey Tecoma suffered their second batting collapse in seven days thanks to Eildon Park's Zac Corcoran. Corcoran, still playing junior cricket, took 5 wickets as the Panthers rolled the Tigers for 92. The Tigers then came out fighting like cornered cats to have Eildon Park 5/55 at the close of play. Cameron Wheeler took 5 wickets and will need a couple more to seal a win early next week.

Knoxfield are looking to keep their top spot secure as they made 7/331 at home to Belgrave. Adith Sundaresh top scored for the Knights with 112, while opening partner Ben Gerloff (70), Matt Train (49) and Zac Wilson (38) all helped set an imposing total for the Magpies. Ben Carnell toiled away for 29 overs to return the figures of 3/95 for Belgrave.

Upper Ferntree Gully has secured first innings points over Monbulk. Todd Burley (4/27) and Shane Luck (3/7) tore through the Hawks lineup dismissing them for 96, before Josh Dowling (69*), Jay Windross (63) and Burley (35*) got the Kings into a strong position. With games to come against Knoxfield and Eildon Park the Kings need to make every post a winner if they are to secure a top 2 finish.

In the remaining games The Basin made 9/279 against Mountain Gate. Josh Lee’s 77* on top of Danny Rundles 56, and Jake Best‘s 39 helped set solid total. Sanitha DeMel was the Gators best Bowler taking 4/54. The Bears need to keep winning, as they wait for results to fall their way. Knox Gardens set Ferntree Gully a target of 216 with Jackson Marget (36) and Michael Brearley(35*) best performed with the bat.
